Wilsonville-Hubbard Highway work planned; detours in place for Aug. 20-23 weekend
SALEM—The Oregon Department of Transportation is planning to rebuild a 240-foot section of concrete located under the railroad bridge on Highway 551 (Wilsonville-Hubbard Highway) starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 20 until 4 a.m. on Monday, August 23.
For safety reasons, ODOT crews will need to close both lanes of traffic during the weekend construction. Detours will be in place as follows starting at Highway 99E (milepost 27.5) at the Grimm Road intersection:
Northbound: Traffic will be detoured north on Highway 99E into Aurora, to Ehlen Road and back to Highway 551 (Wilsonville-Hubbard Highway); and
Southbound: Highway 551 will be closed at Ehlen Road (milepost 3.8) and traffic will be detoured onto Ehlen Road into Aurora to Highway 99E (milepost 24).
Message boards will be set out and a full compliment of detour signs will be posted directing traffic. Expect minor delays.
