Paving on OR 99W could cause delays in Corvallis
CORVALLIS— A contractor working for ODOT will make pavement repairs to OR 99W (3rd St., 4th St., and Pacific Highway), between Harrison Boulevard and just north of Circle Boulevard in Corvallis next week.
Knife River Corporation will grind old asphalt and replace it with a new road surface during nighttime hours beginning Monday, October 4 and continuing until Friday, October 8, 2010.
From 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. each day, motorists will experience single lane restrictions with traffic controlled by flaggers and/or a pilot car. Motorists should expect 10-20 minute delays during the construction periods.
The $330,000 maintenance project is weather dependent. Should the project be cancelled by inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for the next available opportunity.
