Siuslaw River Bridge deck work to result in short, temporary closures
FLORENCE — The U.S. 101-Siuslaw River Bridge will experience a series of short, temporary closures on Tuesday, November 23, 2010.
The work is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m.
Motorists should expect 10-15 minute delays while the bridge spans are lifted and leveled. The work is to align the movable bridge bascule spans in preparation for the installation of new span lock components.
The work is part of the $5.3 million repair and modernization project that is nearly complete.
