| Sign work to close ramps for short periods |

Crews to work on signs on I-5 ramps near Salem
SALEM—A contractor working for the Oregon Department of Transportation will be closing several Salem area I-5 ramps for short periods next week to replace old signs. Crews will need to close the ramps 4-5 times each night between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. to remove and replace the cantilever supports and install the new signs.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday, November 8: Exit 263, Northbound off ramp at Brooks;
Tuesday, November 9: Exit 260, Northbound off ramp at Chemawa Road;
Wednesday, November 10: Exit 249, Northbound collector/distributor ramp at South Commercial; and
Thursday, November 11: Exit 248, Southbound off ramp at Sunnyside Road.
Motorists can expect as much as 20 minute delays.
