Siuslaw River Bridge deck work to result in short, overnight closures
FLORENCE — The U.S. 101-Siuslaw River Bridge will experience a series of short, temporary closures overnight on Tuesday, November 9, 2010.
The work is scheduled to begin at 7p.m. and continue until 11 p.m.
Motorists should expect 10-15 minute delays while the bridge spans are lifted and leveled. The work is to align the movable bridge bascule spans in preparation for the installation of new span lock components.
The work is part of the $5.3 million repair and modernization project that is nearly complete.
