| Overview |
|
The OR 99: Roosevelt to Garfield project is a full-depth pavement reconstruction. This means a contractor for ODOT will be removing and replacing the road substructure and surface pavement. The project was originally planned as part of the OR 99: Enid Road to Washington/ Jefferson Streets project, but the decades old concrete panels beneath the pavement between Roosevelt and Garfield are too badly damaged. Construction on this two year project will complete at the end of the 2012 construction seasons. In 2011, construction began in July and continued through September. The project restarted in spring, 2012 and will conclude in the fall of 2012. During this time, different phases of construction will result in access changes and mobility impacts along the project corridor. Alternate routes will change from 2011 to 2012. See map under Project Library.
