Public Involvement
There will be several opportunities to participate in the second phase of the plan. Information about involvement opportunities will be posted here as it is available.
 

Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC)

Representatives of local community members, advisory groups, and businesses provide input throughout the project through a Stakeholder Advisory Committee.  
 
The committee’s meetings provide a designated time for public comment and opportunities to learn more about the project.

Steering Committee 

The mission of the Steering Committee is to guide the development of a facility plan for the Beltline Highway between Coburg Road and River Road that serves the needs of stakeholders, improves safety and mobility for the traveling public, and is acceptable to all partners.  Members include two City of Eugene Councilors, two Board of County Commissioners, and two transportation managers from the Oregon Department of Transportation.

Community Forums
The project team will also host open houses where you can come and talk with them about the plan.  The previous phase had two open houses in August 2008. If you were not able to attend, summaries are available in the project library.
