OR 42 Expressway Management Plan

What is it?
This is a planning study of the Oregon 42 Expressway from the Lookingglass Road intersection east to I-5 Exit 119 (Green Interchange).
 
Over the next year, it will inventory the existing conditions, identify highway deficiencies and make recommendations for improving safety and operations.
 
Some of the items that may be examined include access (driveway) management/consolidation, capacity improvements, intersection safety and improvements to the local road network.
 
Where is it?
The Oregon 42 Expressway begins at the Lookingglass Road intersection in the City of Winston and ends at the I-5 Exit 119 in Green Urban Unincorporated Area.
 
What’s the timeline and why is this important?
Once completed by next August, and adoption by the Oregon Transportation Commission, the Oregon 42 Expressway Management Plan will be used by the agency for selecting specific highway projects for funding and construction.
