Culvertworkers3forweb.jpg
Rawhide Construction employees Jared Wilkenson and Ron Stephens work on a pipe crossing, prior to the Oregon 62 Linn Rd. to Oregon 234 project. Rawhide is an Oregon Emerging Small Business, which won the bid for this necessary work before the larger road improvement project begins this summer.

Total Projected Cost - $4 million
Projected Construction Schedule - Summer 2013

The existing pavement on Oregon 62 between mile point 10.09 (Linn Road) to mile point 13.69 (Hwy 234) will also be replaced, with a grind-inlay of new asphalt, along with new striping in the project area.

Safety will be increased by providing a two-way, center left-turn lane. Mobility and better traffic flow for all users will also increase with the project. Westbound traffic will be allowed to turn left onto Barton Road.

ODOT will be coordinating with property owners along the highway to address existing or future driveway issues
