Grants Pass and Josephine County residents examine concepts for the Highway 199 Expressway project at an August 26 open house. The concepts will be further refined and forwarded into an Environmental Assessment for the project, designed to improve congestion and safety in the Redwood Highway corridor.

Members of the Highway 199 Expressway Citizens Advisory Committee draw conceptual alternatives for the highway between Tussey Lane and Midway at their May 12 meeting.
The alternatives will be filtered through the project's purpose and need to see if further analysis is needed.
Those that make the grade will be brought forth with be analyized further in the project's Environmental Assessment
