| The $18.4 million rehabilitation project is scheduled for completion in 2005. Cathodic and scour protection work will increase the life of the historical bridge, which was designated a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, for future generations with innovative construction technology. The project will also replace the bridge railing to meet today's safety standards while maintaining its aesthetic beauty. |
