Beam set over I-5 a success; construction on interchange continues toward completion
The March beam set over Interstate 5 went off without a hitch. The 40 beams set over five nights form a corridor of about 250 feet. When complete, the underpass on the interstate will be lighted during the night time hours.
Future project timeline:
Wildish Standard Paving's current schedule show the new interchange in operation by February 2009. At that time, the final piece of the interchange work will begin: the replacement of the Barnett Road Bear Creek bridge.
