District 9 maintenance crews are responsible for maintaining highways in Gilliam, Sherman and Wasco and parts of Hood, Morrow and Wheeler Counties. District Headquarters is in The Dalles. District 9 West includes The Dalles, Maupin and Warm Springs sections. District 9 East consists of Arlington, Condon and Moro sections.
District 9 employs 4 managers and 71 full-time people to maintain and operate 647 road miles.
