Project Location:
US 20, east of Bend, from mile point 62 to 75 and MP 4.57 in Deschutes County
Project Description:
The road surface will be improved from MP 62 to 75. In addition, Torkelson Road, at MP 4.57, has a high crash rate and the intersection does not meet Oregon standards for access management spacing on a 55 mph section of expressway. The Powell Butte Highway intersection is at MP 4.79 and the Hamby/Ward Road intersection is at 3.56. This project is expected to increase safety at the intersection of Torkelson and Erickson roads.
