Work on U.S. 97 Near Lava Butte to Reduce Lanes

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on U.S. 97 between milepost 148 and 150 on Tuesday, February 22 and Wednesday, February 23, weather permitting. Crews will close the ‘fast’ lanes between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on these dates to facilitate reflector strip installation on the center median barrier. This work will take place south of Bend near Lava Butte.
Motorists are advised to use caution, reduce speeds and be aware of workers when traveling through this work zone
