U.S. 26 CRASH
**UPDATE**
11:50 a.m.
Both directions of U.S. 26 (Mt. Hood Highway) at milepost 61.5 are now open. A serious injury crash that occurred earlier this morning had closed both directions of the highway east of Government Camp for approximately two hours.

CLARIFICATION: OR 35 is open and was never blocked this morning.
Crash closes US 26 near Government Camp
10 a.m.
All lanes of traffic are blocked on US 26 at mile point 61.5 east of Government Camp, because of a two-vehicle crash. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
There is no current estimation of how long either highway will be closed. Emergency crews are on site. Motorists are asked to use extra caution while driving over mountain passes, due to winter conditions.
