Storm Drain Cleaning to begin in Bend

Oregon Department of Transportation maintenance crews will begin work to clear storm drains of cinders, garbage and debris in Bend on Tuesday, April 6. During operations, traffic will be reduced by one lane to facilitate work and to protect maintenance team members.
This project is expected to take place Monday through Thursday throughout the month of April. Crews will work between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to reduce commuter delays.
Maintenance crews will clean storm drains located on the entire length of the Bend Parkway, on Business 97 at locations between Empire Avenue and Greenwood Avenue, and on US 20 between Pilot Butte and Greenwood Avenue.
