OR 126 Paving Work to Slow Traffic
Contractor crews pave a section of Oregon 126 in the Powell Butte area, east of Redmond, between milepost 5 and milepost 6 during the week of May 2, weather permitting. Starting at 6 a.m. Monday, May 2 and continuing through 3 p.m. Friday, May 6 both directions of Oregon 126 will alternate use of a single travel lane. Flaggers will control traffic in the construction zone 24 hours a day.
The following are the anticipated daily motorist delays:
Monday, May 2: Delays of up to 20-minutes
Tuesday, May 3: Delays of up to 10-mintues
Wednesday, May 4: Delays of up to 5-minutes
Thursday, May 5: Delays of up to 5-minutes
Friday, May 6: Delays of up to 5-minutes
Drivers are reminded to slow down and be aware of crews working in this project area.
