Striping Work to Slow I-84 Traffic

Contractor crews working for the Oregon Department of Transportation are working to install new striping tape on I-84 between Hood River and the Chenoweth Interchange, located west of The Dalles. Crews are scheduled to work Monday – Thursday, during daylight hours, through Thursday June 9. No work will take place on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30.
Motorists are advised to expect intermittent lane closures as crews perform this work. Drivers are reminded to slow down and be aware of workers when traveling through this and all highway work zones.
