AREA PAVING WORK TO BEGIN

Oregon Department of Transportation maintenance crews will begin work to improve the pavement conditions on several area highways beginning the week of June 13.  Motorists may encounter delays of up to 20 minutes during these paving operations.
 
Motorists are advised to use caution, reduce speeds and be aware of workers when traveling through the following work zones:
 
US 20, East of Bend
Monday, June 13 through Tuesday, June 14 between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Maintenance crews will pave an aging section of Highway 20, from east of 27th Street to Torkelson Road. The project will improve the roadway surface and eliminate potholes and ruts in the area.
 
OR 126, East of Redmond
Wednesday, June 15 through Friday, June 17 between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Maintenance crews will pave an aging section of OR 126, east of Redmond toward the Powell Butte Passing lanes project. The project will improve the roadway and eliminate potholes at ruts between mile points 0 and 4.
 
US 97, Near Crescent
Tuesday, June 21 through Friday, June 24 between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Maintenance crews will pave an aging section of US 97 near Crescent, MP 183- 186. The project will improve the roadway and eliminate potholes at ruts between mile points 183 and 186.
 
OR 26, North of Madras
Monday, June 27 through Thursday, June 30 between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Maintenance crews will work to repair deep ruts and imperfections on OR 26 between mile points 116 and 111.
