Highway Delays Expected During Cascade Cycling Classic
 
Delays of up to 10 minutes are expected on several Central Oregon highways between July 12 – July 14 to allow for Cascade Cycling Classic bicycle race stages. Motorists should be aware of delays and congestion on the following highways, all times approximate:
 
Wednesday, July 12
10:30 a.m., OR 126 east, mile point 0.84, racers cross OR 126 at 9th and 10th Streets, Redmond
10:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., racers ride on OR 370 (O’Neil Highway)
11:35 a.m. – noon, racers on US 26, Prineville
12:10 a.m. – 1:40 p.m., racers on OR 27 (Crooked River Highway), Prineville
2:20 p.m. – 2:25 p.m., racers on US 26, Prineville
2:20 p.m. – 2:25 p.m., racers on US 20, east of Bend
2:35 p.m., racers cross US 20 at Bear Creek Road, Bend
2:50 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., racers on US 20 to Pilot Butte State Park
 
Thursday, July 13
10:35 a.m., racers on US 20 west, east of Sisters
11:10 a.m., racers crossing OR 126, between Sisters and Redmond at Helmholtz
1:25 p.m., racers cross US 20 at Barclay Road, Sisters
1:30 p.m., racers on OR 242 between Sisters High School and Dee Wright Observatory
 
Friday, July 14
10:20 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., racers on OR 372/Century Drive between Reed Market Road and Cascade Lakes Highway
2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., racers on OR 372/Century Drive between Cascade Lakes Highway and Mt. Bachelor
