Greenwood Avenue to be Paved
Contractor crews for the Oregon Department of Transportation are scheduled to begin paving Greenwood Avenue (US 20) on Monday, Sept. 19. The project will continue for about two weeks.
Greenwood Avenue, from Third to 11th streets, will be paved. Work will also take place on Eighth Street, from Kearney to Irving avenues.
Paving will take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weeknights, with weekend work possible. Motorists should expect delays of up to 20 minutes.
This is part of the Bend & Sisters Preservation Project, which includes paving sections of US 20, OR 126 and OR 242.
