I-84: Tanker truck recovered
Crews successfully recovered a tanker trunk that went off the embankment on I-84, east of The Dalles, without closing the eastbound lanes of the interstate. One eastbound lane of traffic will remain closed through Sunday to allow for clean-up of aviation fluid leaked from the truck.
Motorists should be prepared for heavy congestion and delays in the work area and may want to find alternate routes.
A tanker truck overturned near mile point 94 around 4 p.m., Thursday, closing both eastbound lanes for several hours.
