Bend: Dark Intersection, Light to be Temporarily Turned off at Bus. 97 & Mt. Washington Drive
The traffic signals at the intersection of Business 97 (Third Street) and Mt. Washington Drive in Bend will temporarily turn off on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7:00 p.m., to facilitate work in the area. The signals are expected to be turned back on by 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19. Motorist movements will be controlled by flaggers during this work period.
Contractors working for the city of Bend will use the work period to install temporary striping on the roadway in the area. This work is part of the city of Bend’s Mt. Washington Drive Bridge replacement project.
ODOT reminds drivers to remain cautious and be aware of flaggers when passing through the work zone.
