US 97 closed south of Bend
All lanes of US 97 are closed south of Bend at mile point 142 due to a multi-vehicle crash. The highway is expected to be closed for several more hours.
Northbound detour is Baker Road east to Knott Road to 27th Street north to US 20 (Greenwood Avenue) west.
Southbound traffic is encouraged to avoid the area by taking US 20 (Greenwood Avenue) east to 27th Street south to Knott Road to Baker Road to US 97 south. Southbound traffic in the area, however, will be taken through a detour from US 97 to Murphy Road to Parrell Road to US 97.
Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be alert for emergency crews in the area.
