ODOT Invites Public to U.S. 97 Bridge Replacement/Repair Construction Kickoff
Spring Creek Bridge, North Chiloquin Interchange Bridge, Barkley Springs Irrigation Canal Bridge, Algoma Log Pond Bridge, California Street Overcrossing
& Green Springs Drive Overcrossing to be discussed

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) invites the public to an open house to gather and share information on several U.S. 97 Bridge Replacement/Repair projects scheduled for construction in the weeks to come.  The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 23 from  3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the ODOT District 11 offices in Klamath Falls. The District 11 offices are located at 2557 Altamont Drive in Klamath Falls. ODOT representatives will be available to discuss construction plans and specifications, the project schedule, and the temporary traffic control plan for the following bridge projects:
 
Spring Creek Bridge (U.S. 97, MP 244)
North Chiloquin Interchange (U.S. 97, MP 247.54)
Barkley Springs Irrigation Canal Bridge (U.S. 97, MP 263.11)
Algoma Log Pond Bridge (U.S. 97, MP 265.65)
Bridge Over California Street  (U.S. 97, MP 274.7)
Bridge Over Green Springs Drive (U.S. 97, MP 275.8)
 
These Bridge Replacement/Repair projects are funded by the Oregon Transportation Investment Act (OTIA) http://www.odot.state.or.us/otia/otia3index.htm. The Oregon Legislature created OTIA to repair and replace Oregon’s cracked and aging bridges. OTIA projects will enhance the safety, convenience and movement of traffic throughout the state of Oregon.
