UPDATE: Week of November 6
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is continuing to invest in Oregon’s future with roadway improvement projects throughout Oregon’s central region (ODOT Region 4). ODOT is committed to providing safe, efficient transportations systems. The following projects reflect ODOT’s commitment to make improvements as traffic numbers rise and to make the roadways safer and more efficient for drivers:

CROOK COUNTY
OR 126 (Ochoco Highway), MP 17.9, Prineville
Traffic is on the new section of roadway. The contractor will be removing the existing bridge next week. Minimal traffic delays possible.
The speed limit is 35 miles-per-hour through the work zone and is strictly enforced. Fines double in work zones.

DESCHUTES COUNTY
OR 126 (McKenzie Highway), MP 111, Redmond
Road work continues in the area of Glacier and Highland Avenues in Redmond.
Sidewalks are and paving are nearly complete on the project Expect intermittent lane closures on Glacier and Highland avenues to allow for crews to plant trees, work on signals and install pavers.

Negus Way, Redmond
Bridge work continues at Negus Way, from North Canal Boulevard to the east side of the railroad tracks.
Motorists are asked to be cautious of trucks and equipment in the area. Minor delays are possible.
Negus Way is closed between North Canal Boulevard and NE Fifth St.
US 97 (The Dalles – California Highway), MP 152-154, at South Century Drive, near Sunriver
The new, temporary access to S. Century Drive, from US 97, is located approximately 700 feet north of the old access. Earthwork activities will continue this week. Expect up to 10-minute delays between 9:30 and 11 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.
A full diamond interchange will be built to improve safety and operations at the existing intersection and to accommodate an increase in projected traffic. The interchange will consist of two-lane bridges for both north- and southbound traffic on US 97. South Century Drive will go under the two bridges, which are separated by a 120-foot vegetative median.

JEFFERSON COUNTY
US 26 (Warm Springs Highway), MP 85.3-99.1, near Warm Springs
Crews will finish installing permanent striping, as weather permits, and will complete the centerline rumble strips. Expect lane closures between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon on Fridays. The project is near completion. Expect delays up to 16 minutes.
This project will resurface US 26 near Warm Springs.
KLAMATH COUNTY
OR 66 (Greensprings Highway) MP 43.48-44.08, west of Klamath Falls
No delays are expected.
US 97 (The Dalles-California Highway) MP 241, Spring Creek Hill
Wall installation. Expect minor delays

OR 140 (Lake of the Woods Highway), MP 58.8 to 59.8, west of Klamath Falls
The highway is reopened to two lanes of traffic west of Klamath Falls.
The highway closed in June after floodwaters from Klamath Lake submerged portions of the roadway and thousands of acres to the north after the failure of Geary Levy. The road was reopened after ODOT made temporary emergency repairs. The closure and subsequent emergency repairs were necessary to ensure motorist safety and continued mobility through the area.
LAKE COUNTY
OR 31 (Fremont Highway) MP 46.6-46.9, one mile west of Silver Lake
Crews are working to replace the narrow, wood bridge with a new concrete structure, with no impact to traffic. Traffic has been switched to the new bridge and the temporary structure will be demolished through the week.
A temporary traffic signal has been installed at the east and west ends of the project. It controls motorist movements over the one-lane bridge. Speed through the construction zone has been reduced to 45 miles-per-hour.
OR 140 (Warner Highway) MP 17.39 – 18.50, US 395 (Freemont Highway) MP 128.57 – 142.64
This project is complete.
