MANUAL

The Right of Way Manual provides the organizational and operating procedures for the Right of Way Section.

Because of continuous improvements made to our processes and procedures, and because Federal and State laws frequently change, the Right of Way Manual is regularly updated.

Revisions are published on this website as they become available. However, it is the responsibility of the user to keep up to date with any changes in Federal and State laws that may not be reflected in the most recent version of the Right of Way Manual.

The Right of Way Manual is available in "Portable Document Format" (PDF), in "bookmark" format. Bookmarks have been created for each chapter, section, and sub-section within the manual. You may also go to the chart below and be directed to a specific chapter.

The Right of Way Manual has been updated, effective January 2012.

With the 2012 revision, the Right of Way Manual has been reformatted to a single column page layout. Included in the revision are bookmarked links to chapters, sections, and sub-sections within each major chapter. Coming in 2012 will be a fully searchable version of the Manual.
