BRIDGE LEADERSHIP TEAM CHARTER

MEETINGS
This is a standing committee that is normally scheduled monthly on the first Tuesday in Salem.
PURPOSE
Communicate and resolve statewide technical issues and priorities relating to structural engineering.
FOCUS AREAS
1. Defining roles and responsibilities for various bridge activities
2. Statewide uniformity
3. Shared resourcing of technical expertise
4. Training for technical excellence
5. Research
6. Statewide standards and manuals
7. Software for bridge analysis, load rating, and design
8. Bridge Program funding and bridge major maintenance funding

STIP, Training, Major Maintenance, Research
AUTHORITY
Recommendations that do not require management approval may be implemented by this committee. Recommendations that require management approval are forwarded to the TLT or Highway staff.
