ODOT has changed the process for distribution of the Sign Policy & Guidelines updates.  Effective April 2011, hard copies of the Sign Policy and Guidelines updates are no longer mailed as in the past.  Updates to the manual will only be available electronically on this website.  If you would like to receive email notification when updates to the manual are available, please respond by submitting your name and the email address you wish to receive notification to the following contact:

Policy Updates

Current Policy Update: 
Pointer Icon  January 2014​

A sunset period of one year will be allowed to use up existing sign stock for signs OR7-8 & OR7-8c (Disabled Parking). No new signs are to be manufactured. After March 1st, 2013 only Federal sign R7-8 and revised OR7-8c may be installed (See February 2012 Sign Policy update).
