In 2007 we are offering a one-day program for experienced inspectors who are being
re-certified and a two-day program for new and less experienced inspectors.
(People who are being re-certified, who inspect signal installations on an
infrequent basis, or who are uncomfortable with their skills/knowledge, should
attend the two-day program.)

Work Zone Traffic Analysis Workshop
(1 Day Class)

This one-day training provides traffic analysts and their lead workers the theory and practices of Work Zone Traffic Analysis. At the end of the training the participant will be able to:
- Explain the basic theories of work zone Traffic Analysis
- Perform work zone traffic analyses by hand
- Perform work zone traffic analyses using ODOT-developed MS Excel spreadsheet applications
- Explain the basic principles and practices of TCP Design as they relate to work zone traffic analysis
Classes run from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The cost is $50.00 per student. Taking the class provides 6 Professional Development Hours. |

Temporary Traffic Control Plans Design Workshop
(3 Day Class)

This three-day training provides Traffic Control Plan designers, inspectors and their leaders the principles and practices of (TCP) Design. By the end of this training the participant will be able to:
- Develop the basics of TCP design
- Identify TCP practices and devices
- Prepare TCP specifications
- Complete a Cost Estimate for TCP
Classes run from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The cost is $150.00 per student. Taking the class provides 21 Professional Development Hours.
