Provide traffic technical expertise to Region project development staff, maintenance staff Consultant and Local Agency staff developing projects on the State Highway system.
Support ODOT project delivery and maintenance by providing traffic technical support and information sharing.
Provide leadership for the management of traffic assets by leading development of improved asset file management tools, statewide asset inventory and asset management systems for signs, traffic signals, illumination and traffic structure assets.
Support the delivery of quality design and construction through presentations and the development and delivery of training courses.
Provide Quality Assurance – Quality Control for Traffic Plans and Inter Government Agreements developed by Region Staff, Consultants, Local Agencies and Developers.
Provide traffic operations support to Regions and Agency Partners.
Evaluate the future Traffic Signal Controller needs and select Traffic Signal Controller hardware and software for the State of Oregon and develop implementation plan.
