| Overview |
|
The Traffic Control Plans Unit develops the standards for traffic control plans for construction projects. When construction projects suspend the normal function of the roadway, a traffic control plan is developed to assure the safety of all road users, and the protection of workers. At the same time, the traffic control plan provides for continuity of the movement of motor vehicles, bicycle and pedestrian traffic while allowing for the efficient completion of the construction project.
