Important Notices:
1. Trains 11 & 14, the Coast Starlight, are routinely serving Oregon stations late due to freight train congestion, temporary speed restrictions, and late terminal departures caused by late inbound equipment. Those meeting these trains are strongly encouraged to contact Amtrak to learn actual arrival times before heading to the station.
2. Due to increasing passenger loads on Amtrak Thruway buses between Portland and Eugene, passengers holding reservations will be given preference over passengers using unreserved ten-ride tickets or monthly passes in the event the bus is oversold. This situation is most likely to occur on the two northbound buses. Users of ten-ride tickets and monthly passes can avoid this potential inconvenience by using Amtrak Cascades, which have greater capacity.
