Introduction
To support the development of the Oregon Freight Plan ODOT has formed three Working Groups that will provide focused review of consultant work products. The three working groups include the “Freight Infrastructure and Traffic Issues Working Group“, the “Policy and Process Working Group”, and the “Freight and the Economy Working Group”.

Freight and the Economy Working Group
Overview
 
The Freight and the Economy Working Group will focus primarily on the assigned topic areas detailed below:
  • baseline economic data and forecasts
  • industrial cluster analysis
  • freight profile
  • supply chains (global, west coast, and Oregon)
  • economic impact analysis
