As part of work being done by the Oregon Sustainable Transportation Initiative (OSTI), a joint effort of the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD), we are conducting an OSTI Outreach Surveyto assess Oregonian’s perceptions about climate change. - OSTI Primers - The following documents provide a summary of some of the various components of OSTI, as well frequently asked questions and answers. These documents are part of a package of communications tools designed to help stakeholders communicate with their organizations and the public about OSTI.
- OSTI Flyer - This two page flyer gives a very brief and easy to follow overview of Oregon's Sustainable Transportation Initiative.
- GreenSTEP Model - GreenSTEP is an innovative new model that was built to support scenario planning for greenhouse gas emissions reduction. It is a tool which fills needs that are not filled by standard urban travel models. This article gives an overview of the GreenSTEP model.
- Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Initiatives in Oregon – Public - This article provides a brief overview of the GHG emissions reduction initiatives being undertaken by a variety of entities in Oregon including the Department of Transportation, public utilities and energy facilities, the Department of Environmental Quality, Oregon Agricultural Carbon Working Group and more. This version is generalized, while the technical version goes into greater detail.
