  • Welcome to the ODOT Statewide Transportation Improvement Program Website

The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, known as the STIP, is Oregon’s four-year transportation capital improvement program. It is the document that identifies the funding for, and scheduling of, transportation projects and programs. It includes projects on the federal, state, city, and county transportation systems, multimodal projects (highway, passenger rail, freight, public transit, bicycle and pedestrian), and projects in the National Parks, National Forests, and Indian tribal lands.

Announcements

  • The deadline for Enhance proposals has changed. Enhance proposals were originally due August 3, 2015. That deadline is being moved to a later, yet to be determined date. The OTC will be making several decisions regarding the funding allocations for the 2018-2021 STIP at its July 2015 meeting. It is anticipated that the new deadline for Enhance proposals will be November 2015 – but we won’t know for certain until the July 16-17 OTC meeting. If you have questions please contact your Region staff. Contact information can be found on the What's Changed page.
  • The Region 1 Area Commission on Transportation is accepting applications for two at-large stakeholder members representing freight interests and active transportation, respectively. The full ACT will select the members from the pool of applicants to serve four-year terms. Members will be expected to attend monthly meetings during the workday. Applications can be sent to Andrew Plambeck and must be received by Friday, May 29.
  • Information on the 2018-2021 STIP Enhance Process is now available.
