Transportation and Growth Management
Oregon's Transportation and Growth Management Program supports community efforts to expand transportation choices for people. By linking land use and transportation planning, TGM works in partnership with local governments to create vibrant, livable places in which people can walk, bike, take transit or drive where they want to go.
Eco-Driving is a method of drive that reduces vehicle emissions, conserves fuel and saves you money. Our website includes tools to create an education campaign in your community to educate employees or the general public about Eco-Driving. Visit EcoDrive.
Scenario Planning Guidelines
Scenario Planning offers local communities powerful new analytical tools to estimate how well communities will do in meeting important local needs given different assumptions about the future. The Scenario Planning Guidelines present recommendations about how metropolitan areas can use new tools to conduct scenario planning.
Statewide Transportation Strategy (STS)
The Statewide Transportation Strategy (STS) is a state-level scenario planning effort that examines all aspects of the transportation system, including the movement of people and goods, and identifies a combination of strategies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
