The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) Stakeholder Committee was established by the Oregon Transportation Commission in 2001 to advise on policies and procedures related development of the STIP. Committee members represent diverse transportation interests including freight, private business, public transit, local governments, and state agencies. The STIP Stakeholder Committee is now serving as a steering committee for ODOT's least cost planning methodology development project, also legislated in House Bill 2001.
