THE T2 LENDING LIBRARY
Need a boost in your training program? Out of ideas? We have a well stocked library of training and safety videos and DVDs on a wide range of subjects, as well as a publication library of reference materials and CDs. All public agencies within Oregon are welcome to use this free service; your only cost is for postage to return borrowed items. We can also set up a "send out" schedule for you, so the items you want to borrow will arrive on the dates you want to use them.

New Publications/CDs in the Library
"Sign Retroreflectivity Guidebook For Small Agencies, Federal Land Management Agencies, and Tribal Governments" - Publication & CD - The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, or MUTCD, establishes uniformity and standards for traffic signs on public roads. Recently adopted language in the MUTCD now requires all agencies to adopt a sign maintenance program, which in turn will help agencies meet new minimum retroreflectivity requirements for the traffic signs they have installed.
All agencies, large and small, that own and maintain traffic signs, are required to adhere to these new requirements for their traffic signs. Implementing these requirements may also involve beginning a new sign maintenance program.
"Low-Cost Safety Enhancements for Stop-Controlled and Signalized Intersections"- Publication The purpose of this document is to present information on suggested effective, low-cost intersection countermeasures developed using intersection safety research results and input from an intersection safety expert panel. These low-cost countermeasures can be applied to a large number of intersections with a high frequency of crashes using a systematic approach.
