About Us
Mission Statement
The mission of the Oregon Technology Transfer (T2) Center is to foster a safe and efficient transportation system in the state of Oregon by offering training, technical assistance and technology transfer to local transportation agencies.  To accomplish this purpose, the T2 Center:
  • provides low-cost seminars, training classes and workshops;
  • publishes a quarterly newsletter;
  • provides a "Circuit Rider" service, taking informational materials to local agencies;
  • provides a lending library service of video programs and technical publications of a variety of transportation topics;
  • provides copies of technical bulletins and reports upon request; and
  • answers telephone and mail inquiries related to transportation topics or makes referrals to specialists.
 
The Technology Transfer (T2) Center is jointly sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the counties and cites of Oregon, and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).  FHWA funds are provided through the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP).
