The Senior Internal Auditor performs various types of performance audits and provides information to management to improve the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of Department activities.
 
This position is classified at Internal Auditor 2 level, Salary $4238 - $5957/month.  However, we encourage candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for Internal Auditor 1, Salary $3487 - $4906/month to apply as we may consider underfilling this position until the selected candidate successfully demonstrates ability to perform at the Internal Auditor 2 level.  Underfill training will not exceed 2 years.

Internal Auditor 2
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business related field such as business or public administration, finance, economics, computer science, accounting or a field specific to the Agency’s mission or area of audit.
And
  • Two years of auditing experience (preferably in performance auditing)
  • A graduate-level degree in any of the areas defined under education may substitute for one year of auditing experience.
 
Internal Auditor 1 – Underfill Option
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as business or public administration, finance, economics, computer science, accounting; or a field specific to the Agency’s mission.
