The Professional Engineer acts as a lead worker in the Region 1 Technical Center Roadway Unit. This position functions as the design expert on design teams; designing and providing design consulting and mentoring for highly complex, urban highway construction projects.
This is a Limited Duration position scheduled to last up to 2 years (24 months).

CURIOUS? Here’s what you need (Minimum Qualifications):
- A valid Professional Engineer’s (PE) license in Civil, Structural, or Transportation-related engineering,
- A B.S. degree in Civil Transportation-related engineering and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in surface transportation engineering. Three (3) of the seven years must have been spent performing journey level professional engineering duties.
- NOTE: If registered in another state, successful applicants will be required to obtain comity within six months of hire.
- NOTE: This is a Limited Duration position scheduled to last up to 2 years (24 months).
- Limited Duration appointments are regular status, benefits eligible, with a designated maximum length of service.
