The Transportation Program Analyst will support the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) by developing operational procedures and tracking methodology to ensure reporting requirements are met. The position is responsible to evaluate program operations, and to identify and analyze information received from recipients of ARRA funds to complete the reporting requirements of ODOT, the Governor's Office, Federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
 
This is a Limited Duration position expected to end June 30, 2011. Limited Duration appointments are regular status, benefits eligible positions with a designated maximum length of service.
 
Due to extraordinary budgetary shortfalls, Oregon state government is continuing cost reduction measures which include mandatory unpaid time off (furlough days) and suspending salary step advancement during the 2009-2011 biennium.
 
Positions are subject to these measures based upon representation, and salary range. In general terms, employees are subject to 10 – 14 furlough days, and will not receive salary step increases until at least August 31, 2010.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills;
OR
  • Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.
  • Candidates with experience in federal transit program reporting or data gathering and analysis are preferred.
