The HR Business Analyst provides second-level support to the primary business analyst in the evaluation of human resource management programs and systems for operational effectiveness. This position researches and analyzes operational data and systems used for both strategic and tactical organizational decisions made by top management which can have impact on programs agency-wide. This position is responsible for analyzing human resource trends in the agency and assisting with the development, maintenance and operation of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and computerized human resource forecasting models.

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR
- Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
