Oregon Institutions of Higher Education calculate and grant credit hours for military education as recommended by the American Council on Education's (ACE) Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services. Students may request evaluation of military credit by furnishing the Office of Admissions with military transcripts.
Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) Consortium - Accredited colleges and universities that offer job-related degree programs at the associate and bachelor’s degree level on or accessible to Army installations and communities. Military students can take courses in their off-duty hours at or near military installations in the United States, overseas, and on Navy ships.
U.S. Army and Army National Guard - SOCAD and SOCGUARD
Army Continuing Education System - Academically accepted education transcript validated by the American Council on Education (ACE).
The Army American Council on Education Registry Transcript System (AARTS) documents semester hours earned in ACE credits for pursuit of a baccalaureate/associate degree. Transcripts are available to veterans and active-duty personnel of the United States Army and Army National Guard.
Navy and Marine Corps - SOCNAV and SOCMAR
Navy College Center - Academically accepted education transcript validated by the American Council on Education (ACE).
The Sailor/Marine American Council on Education Registry Transcript (SMART) documents semester hours earned in ACE credits for pursuit of a baccalaureate/associate degree. Transcripts are available to veterans and active-duty personnel of the United States Navy and Marine Corps.
Air Force and Air National Guard
Air University - Academically accepted education transcript validated by the American Council on Education (ACE).
The Air Force Institute of Advanced Distributed Learning (AFIADL) documents semester hours earned in ACE credits for pursuit of a baccalaureate/associate degree. Transcripts are available to veterans and active-duty personnel of the United States Air Force and Air National Guard.
Coast Guard - SOCCOAST
