OREGON WOMEN VETERANS CONFERENCE

As a woman who has served in the military, you may not realize that you are an American veteran. That’s why every two years, the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs partners with other state and federal organizations to host an Oregon Women Veterans Conference.

This free event offers women veterans an opportunity to connect with other women veterans and learn about the benefits that they have earned as a result of their honorable service.

The conference also offers workshops on topics such as women veterans health, military sexual trauma, VA benefits (federal and state), employment and stress reduction.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor, volunteering to organize and raise money, or to simply make a donation, please contact the Women Veterans Coordinator, Rene French at orwomenvets@odva.state.or.us

2012 Oregon Women Conference
The 2012 Oregon Women Veterans Conference (WVC) was a huge success!  Nearly 350 women veterans gathered from across Oregon to learn, share and enjoy the camaraderie of others just like them.

ODVA and volunteers work year-round to raise funds to keep this important, valuable and enjoyable conference free to all women who have served.  If you missed the 2012 conference, please join us March 27th-30th at the Eugene Hilton & Conference Center for education, entertainment, camaraderie, memories, shopping and more!
