The nine-member Advisory Committee to the ODVA was formed by statute in 1945. The committee plays an important role in the effective administration of the department and have been invaluable advisors to ODVA's director. Committee members are appointed by the governor to serve four-year terms.
With the pending term completion of one committee member, the Governor’s Office and ODVA are seeking applications from the veteran community to fill this position. All Oregon veterans are welcome to apply. Please read this application letter for more information.
