Training/Education
ORS 244.340 mandates the Oregon Government Ethics Commission (Commission) to prepare and present a program of continuing education for public officials and lobbyists.
 
Tammy Hedrick and Linsay Bassler, regularly present educational training sessions throughout the state. You may have groups of new employees that need to be aware of ethics issues, or staff wanting a refresher session, or have unique groups with questions regarding specific ethics problems. If so, this opportunity is for you. To request training, please complete a Training Request Form or call 503-378-5105 for more information. The OGEC also produces a booklet entitled " Oregon Government Ethics Commission LawsA Guide for Public Officials." The information it contains is a general guideline and may be viewed under the Forms and Publications link on our home page or may be requested in hard copy form free of charge by calling 503-378-5105 or by sending an e-mail request complete with your mailing address to tammy.r.hedrick@state.or.us or linsay.bassler@state.or.us.
