OHA-Approved Traditional Health Worker (THW) Training and Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Programs

Traditional Health Workers must complete an Oregon Health Authority (OHA)-approved training program to qualify for state certification. This applies to community health workers, peer wellness specialists, personal health navigators, peer-support specialists, and doulas.

Become an OHA-Approved Training Program

If you're an organization that trains traditional health workers, apply for OHA approval of your curriculum. Once approved, we'll add you to our list of training sites. Submit a training program application or Continuing Education Unit (CEU) training application.
